Our grapes are planted around 750 metres above sea level and after being hand picked, and carried a fermentation under controlled temperature, is aged for 4 months in French oak. Garnacha Tintorera- aka Alicante Bouschet- is known for its deep colour (one of the few varieties whose juice is already red) and here it coats the glass and imparts aromas of brooding black fruits, licorice, expresso and pepper. Dense, savory and rich, complex and with a nice acidity that rounds the unusual experience that is this wine. The ratings specified are of the previous vintage, 2020 is just launched.
