SANAMARO ON THE LEES 2017

Sanamaro Sobre Lías (on the lees) is a unique wine, hailing from our oldest vineyards “La Fraga” and “Los Bancales" in the very South of the Rías Baixas region. This wine is only produced in the years when extraordinary maturation is reached. A limited edtion wine. One third of the grapes is pressed with whole bunches to retain maximum aromatics and freshness. The rest (2/3) is destemmed, and goes through cold maceration before being pressed. Additionally, 50% of the wine is fermented and aged in French oak wooden vats.
