The Peñalba la Verde estate belonged to the Marques of Revilla, to Don Diego Lagasca, since 1681. We have documents that attest that already in those years it was planted with vineyards that were later uprooted because it was not a profitable crop at that time. Later it has belonged to various families, the best known the Duchess of Alba until it came to the hands of the Zarzuela Family. Our vineyard has an area of 80 ha in trellis, planted with 4 varieties: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and our famous Syrah. We produce beautiful, fine, organic wines.
