The Peñalba la Verde estate belonged to the Marques of Revilla, to Don Diego Lagasca, since 1681. Later it has belonged to various families, the best known the Duchess of Alba until it came to the hands of the Zarzuela Family. Our vineyard has an area of 80 ha in trellis, planted with 4 varieties: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and our famous Syrah. We have a special microclimate as the entire estate is surrounded by the Duero Canal and the Duero River, centenary pine forests and the Villabañez and Sardón mountains. Altitude 720 m. Plantation density 2500 vines / ha.
