`Lalume` White Ribeiro 2017

The 'Lalume' is 100% Treixadura sourced from the Avia, Arnoia and Miño valleys of Ribeiro. Fermentation using indigenous yeasts took place in a mix of 600 litre new and old barrels, 1200 and 2400 litre casks, ovoid concrete tanks and 2000 litre stainless-steel tanks. The wine was then aged on fine lees in 12,000 litre stainless-steel tanks. Bright aromas of citrus fruit, yellow flowers and wild herbs. On the palate, the wine’s pithy texture, both from the variety and time on lees, is tempered its zippy acidity and long finish.
