About
On the route of the 'Pueblas Blancas' in Andalucia, Acros de la Frontera is considered to be one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. The area is generally associated with Sherry production, but has a long forgotten tradition of making red wines, with records dating back to the 14th century. Gonzalez Byass recognised the quality potential of the grapes from the area and in 2000 they bought Finca Moncloa, a 42 acre estate on clay and limestone soils, with a Mediterranean climate, producing red grapes with great intensity.
