Description
The grapes for this wine were sourced from old bush-trained vines, planted in 1960. The vineyards sit at 600 metres above sea level. The soils are a combination of chalk, clay and pebbles. The grapes were destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks and the wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation. The palate has superb purity of fruit, with notes of stone fruit and zesty acidity leading to a refreshing, fruit-driven finish.
