Description
The Gran Reserva is the product of 40-year-old Tempranillo vines in Rioja Alta blended with 4% Mazuelo sourced from the famed Viña Lanciano vineyard. The grapes from these old vines are intensely concentrated and capable of standing up to two years ageing in American and French oak followed by three years in bottle before release. This is a classic Gran Reserva which marries beautifully fresh red fruit flavours of strawberry, cherry and cranberry with a wonderful savoury complexity and notes of smoke, toast and leather.
