Description
The estate has just 0.45 hectares of Brancellao and 0.57 hectares of Sousón. The site is located 45 kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean, where mountain breezes produce a marked diurnal range allowing the grapes to retain their freshness as they ripen slowly. Maceration on the skins took place for around 10 days at 25ºC. Sousón lends deep colour and structured acidity to the blend, while the more ethereal Brancellao provides floral perfume. The palate is expressive with vibrant cherry tones, and notes of liquorice and spice. Lively acidity and chalky tannins.
